Here is what some top music industry insiders have to say about Gary Tackett.
“Gary, "I've known Gary a long time, and I've watched him grow. Older and wiser now he's become a truly major league song writer. Straight ahead, honest, from the heart, lyrics and a dynamic melodic sense. And guitar? Come on. Romping blues, country, cool jazz, rock, gospel he can do it all. And with fire. On top of that he's a fantastic singer. He's really got it all, including vast experience. I love this guy." DW”
- Dennis Walker -Producer (BB King, Robert Cray, Phillip Walker, Lowell Fulson)
"Gary Tackett, a great versatile guitarist, Blues, Jazz, Rock, Pop...and a CoolManDude to the fullest!!! Walfredo Reyes Jr. (Drummer-Steve Winwood, David Lindley, Santana, Chicago, Lindsey Buckingham).

"It's nice when talent meets integrity. That's the case with Gary Tackett. I can depend on him, not only as a professional, but as a friend. It's an honor when someone of Gary's caliber contributes their talents to what I do, because you know this guy could work with anyone, and here he is on stage with me. That makes me want to work harder." – Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours.
