About 30 years ago I was playing the club scene and was placing my slide and picks in my pocket. I started folding a drinking straw in half and taping it to my mic stand, which provided the perfect pick holder and I could also put my slide within reach.....   I also invented the D-Slyde/Takslyd which is a half round extruded glass slide with a D-shape that allows the slide to be attached to the back of your guitar's headstock..... licensed to D'Addarrio/Planet Waves many moons ago.
